April 1 – June 30 • FLOCKworks presents a unique series of 12 shows featuring work by over 200 local artists. Shows include painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, jewelry, glass, woodworking, photography, and more. April 3 – May 4 • Mendocino Theatre Company presents The Shaker Chair. By Adam Bock. Directed by Carter Sears. What is eco-terrorism? Is it justified? When is action the only moral choice? July 17 • Mendocino Music Festival - Degenerate Music from Susan Waterfall & The Festival Chamber Players, Erin Neff, vocalist. Post World War I, Weimar Berlin was a cauldron of avant-garde artists and intellectuals, mostly Jewish, struggling to create a modern German culture. Freedom and experimentation abound until 1933 when Hitler denounced them as "degenerate" and forced their exile.
